Adventure Weekend in Serra da Estrela

Adventure weekend is a 3-day retreat in an intimate format where photography becomes an essential complement to the involvement with nature.

Staying, exploring and experiencing the mountain range over three days, walking trails and getting to know its less visited corners, as well as its landscapes and local culture. We’ll talk about photography and travel, but above all feel and enjoy nature in a complete way, as we rarely have the opportunity to do, with people who share the same interests.

Being a 3-day adventure, we will spend a lot of time together, sharing a mountain home, meals, stories and life experiences. We will laugh and lament our leg pain after hiking, in an environment of interpersonal exchange that enriches and makes this a unique experience.

During this activity, the concept of conscious outdoor living is crucial, meaning that in addition to good practices on how to be in nature with the least possible impact, we will address the topic directly, by exchanging ideas and taking action.

  • The idea is to do a tour around all of Parque Natural da Serra da Estrela, from Covilhã, to the highest point of continental Portugal ( Torre) passing by through Manteigas, Penhas da Saude, and Penhas Douradas. The itinerary will be adjusted to the weather and to any unforeseen restrictions

    • Outdoor and photographer guide

    • Transport on a 4x4 jeep during all weekend

    • Accommodation in a Mountain Cabin (2 nights)

    • Breakfast

    • Some snacks along the weekend

    • Transfer to Serra da Estrela

    • Main meals ( lunch and dinner)

    • Personal expenses

  • This adventure weekend is open to beginners, professionals and everything in between. The only criteria is that you have a passion for nature, photography and have the motivation to be on the go every day and night.
